Pape Clement Dinner at Blanch House Restaurant, Brighton, 27th April 2006 We were delighted to host a tasting and dinner at Blanch House on 27th April 2006 with Pascal Fricard of Château Pape Clément and Bernard Magrez. There were a few barrel samples of the exceptional 2005 vintage from Bordeaux to taste, including the 2005 Château Pape Clément, followed by a three course dinner with accompanying wines from our co-host's cellar. Fine Wine Dinner 14 November 2007 Laurent Courbis from Domaine Courbis is visiting the UK in November and we are hosting a dinner at The Griffin Inn in Fletching, East Sussex on the 14th November featuring his wines with Laurent Courbis as our speical guest. Dinner at Limes in Linfield, 23 April 2008 We are delighted to be hosting this event at Limes Bistro in Lindfield, which promises to be a great evening. This will feature the wines from two producers in the Loire Valley. Château Midouin in Saumur, a source of excellent sparkling wines that offer amazing value and a great alternative to Champagne and some cracking reds from Domaine Spelty in Chinon who produces some of best of the appellation. All this will be accompanied by special menu prepared for the evening. More details to follow, but do let us know if you want to be kept informed. Time: 7.30 for 8pm. Carriages at 10.30pm. A toast to St George, 23rd April 2008 10 local restaurants will give their customers the opportunity to taste a sample of RidgeView sparkling wine alongside a well known grande marque Champagne. The tasting will illustrate how similar the wines are and how far English sparkling wine has come in the last decade. Wine Tasting, 2nd June A great turn out enjoyed the sunshine and wines at our first sunmmer tasting, held on 2nd of June behind The Half Moon Pub in Ditchling Road, Plumpton. We also held a raffle, with the proceeds going to The Martlets Hospice. Moore on the Menu and The Fletching Food Company showed a range of their fine food and services.
